
Chris Byers brings together a unique background in law enforcement, forensic identification, education, and Christian ministry.
As a Forensic Identification Constable with the Ontario Provincial Police, his experience has included major investigations and a wide variety of complex scenes. He has also taught at Northern College for many years, where he developed their Crime Scene Analysis and Reconstruction course.
Chris is also an Ordained Minister, currently serving as Discipleship Pastor at South Porcupine Pentecostal Church and as Chaplain with Blue Line Church, a Christian ministry serving police officers and first responders. Chris enjoys preaching, teaching, and speaking in church and ministry settings. His desire is to communicate biblical truth in a practical, accessible, and engaging way and to help people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Positive Identification brings together Chris's experience in forensic identification and his passion to explore identity, truth, and the evidence of a life changed by Christ.
Using real-world forensic investigative concepts and experiences, the book invites readers to become investigators of their own faith.
Positive Identification is currently being developed for publication and will include a six-week group discussion guide for churches, small groups, and discipleship settings.
